I came up with the concept of this brand back in 2007...damn near 10 years ago, while I was interning as a software engineer. Of course while interning my time was consumed with doing pretty much nothing but exploring the internet and drawing random characters on sticky notes and sticking them on peoples computer screens. Yep...that was my life.

One day while exploring the internet I came across a blog of a streetwear brand that was at its early beginnings (now they're pretty huge) and I began following that blog day in and day out...I was instantly inspired. I figured out then that I knew what I wanted to do, I knew right then that in order for me to be happy about my life I needed to do what I wanted to do and not what some company wanted me to do. Around that same time I met my homeboy Will. He had just started a tree removal business but also was working a 9 to 5. We both had the same mindset and the same vision for this brand. So of course, I had to bring him on board with me to start this brand.

We wanted this brand to be about doing whatever it is you want to do and having fun doing it. The designs you see from us are just that...from us. Whatever way we were feeling at that particular time. By the way, having fun doesn't mean we get to bullshit on our quality of work or the quality of our clothes...or whatever we put out. We take our brand seriously but we still have fun doing it.

So yea...that's how it all started...the condensed blog version of it anyway. One more thing...Growing up I went to 4 different high schools and in every school I went to everyone wanted to have third lunch, which was the last lunch of the day. Everything happened at third lunch...food fights, fist fights, rap battles...everything. So in my eyes third lunch symbolized a time in school where you could do whatever you wanted to do, a sense of freedom to have fun. That's what our brand symbolizes...Third Lunch
